Bengal's BJP Vice President arrested over charges of fraud

West Bengal's BJP Vice President Jay Prakash Majumdar was arrested on Saturday over charges of criminal conspiracy, fraud, and cheating. Majumdar has been accused of cheating a man of ₹7 lakh. He was arrested as he failed to give proper answers during interrogation, police said. This comes amid the arrest of two Trinamool MPs in a chit fund scam.
