Bengaluru ADA scientist dies by suicide; family cites work stress

Sharad Katiyar, a 47-year-old senior scientist with the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) linked to the LCA Mk2 programme, allegedly died by suicide at his Seegehalli residence in Bengaluru. His family alleged that prolonged work stress caused his death. ADA denied awareness of any such concerns. Bengaluru Police registered an Unnatural Death Report and are investigating.
