Bengaluru city's original name washed away in floods: Ex-CM Bommai

Ex-Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai on Monday accused the Congress-led state government of "drowning Bengaluru in water and washing away the city's original name in the floods." He said the government collects the highest taxes from Bengaluru but has failed to release the ₹2,000 crore flood relief fund. He also claimed Silicon City has been turned into a poor city.
