Bengaluru education startup Edureka raises $2mn in 1st round

Online certification start-up Edureka has raised $2 million in its first round of funding from venture fund Leo Capital India. Founded in 2011, the Bengaluru-based company was running on ₹1.5 crore infused by its founders including CEO Lovleen Bhatia. Edureka is a global training platform in technologies such as big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and blockchain, among others.
