Bengaluru IPS officer resigns from his post citing 'harassment'

Bengaluru IPS officer P Ravindranath resigned from his post of Additional Director General of Police in the Forest Cell citing "harassment". In his resignation letter, Ravindranath stated that some IPS officers, who were junior to him, were promoted before him. Notably, he was booked on charges of molestation in 2014, which the High Court had quashed.
