Bengaluru IT professional quits job, turns farmer in Sullia

Bengaluru IT professional Chethan Shetty quit his job in 2017 and returned to Sullia, Dakshina Kannada, to pursue farming. He transformed his family's 11-acre ancestral land using modern farming methods and exotic fruits such as rambutan and mangosteen. His farm now reports an annual turnover of up to ₹60 lakh, with rambutan sales helping him build a new house.
