Bengaluru losing ₹20,000 crore/year due to traffic: Karnataka IT Minister Kharge

Karnataka IT Minister Priyank Kharge has said that Bengaluru was losing ₹20,000 crore annually in lost productivity due to traffic congestion. "The loss includes the value of time, fuel wasted due to congestion and also low productivity among daily office goers," Kharge said. In the recently launched traffic quality index (TQI), Bengaluru emerged as India's most congested city.
