Bengaluru man put under digital arrest for 6 days, loses ₹14 lakh

A 29-year-old man was cheated of ₹14 lakh after fraudsters posed as telecom and CBI officials and put him under digital arrest for six days in Bengaluru. The man received a call in September and was told that a complaint had been filed against him in Maharashtra. The scammers accused him of being linked to illegal activities, including money laundering.
