Bengaluru Metro begins soil tests for proposed Red Line

BMRCL has begun preliminary geotechnical investigations on Sarjapur Road for Bengaluru Metro’s proposed 37.8-km Sarjapur-Hebbal Red Line. The soil tests will help engineers assess ground conditions and finalise construction plans. The project is awaiting Central government approval, while BMRCL has revised cost estimates and modified station plans to reduce expenditure.
