Bengaluru Metro gets blue line train with driverless tech

The six-coach driverless train was shipped on trailers from BEML’s manufacturing factory in CV Raman Nagar to Byappanahalli depot. While all Blue Line trains are expected to have luggage racks, the first train set doesn’t include them. The new set of trains will also feature LCD-based animated route-map displays and upgraded safety systems.
