Bengaluru metro launches mobile QR unlimited passes

Namma Metro in Bengaluru has launched mobile QR-based unlimited travel passes from January 15, 2026. Commuters can now buy 1-day, 3-day, or 5-day passes via the official app, eliminating the ₹50 smart card deposit and long queues. QR codes allow seamless entry and exit, marking a major step towards a fully digital, cashless, and commuter-friendly metro system.
