Bengaluru Metro Pink Line awaits nod; Blue Line targets July 2027

Bengaluru Metro’s Pink Line stretch from Kalena Agrahara to Tavarekere is awaiting Centre’s approval to begin public operations after completing trial runs on the 7.5-km section. Meanwhile, the 19.75-km Silk Board–K.R. Puram stretch of the Blue Line is targeted to open in July 2027, subject to trial runs and technical clearances.
