Bengaluru metro plans screen doors at 177 stations

BMRCL has proposed installing Platform Screen Doors at 177 Bengaluru Metro stations as part of a ₹1,274 crore safety upgrade. The project aims to prevent track accidents, unauthorised entry and suicide attempts while preparing the Metro network for future driverless operations. The plan will cover stations across multiple phases, including Phase 3A.
