Bengaluru Metro to deploy 21 new trains on Green Line

Bengaluru Metro will deploy 21 new metro trains on Green Line to improve frequency and reduce congestion. Meanwhile, 17 existing Green Line trains will be shifted to the Purple Line. The prototype DTG-enabled train is undergoing trials, with clearances pending from RDSO and the Railway Board. Enhanced passenger amenities, real-time train updates, and LCD screens will be available.
