Bengaluru metro to get 200 BMTC mini electric buses

BMTC will deploy 200 AC mini electric buses to improve last-mile connectivity for Bengaluru Metro passengers. The buses will operate within a 5-km radius of metro stations, connecting residential areas and inner roads that regular buses cannot easily access. The initiative is part of the PM E-DRIVE scheme and is expected to encourage public transport use.
