Bengaluru Metro to get first travelator at Silk Board junction

Bengaluru Metro will get its first travelator at Central Silk Board to connect the Yellow and Blue Line stations. BMRCL has awarded a ₹55.48 crore contract to Milan Road Buildtech LLP to construct a 250-metre elevated skywalk featuring a moving walkway and an adjacent pedestrian path. The facility is expected to open when the Blue Line station becomes operational.
