Bengaluru mulls daytime curbs on trucks, tourist buses

Bengaluru Traffic Police are considering time-based restrictions on heavy goods vehicles and tourist buses to ease the city’s worsening traffic congestion. Proposals may limit daytime movement of trucks and All India Permit private buses, while medium-sized goods vehicles could face peak-hour curbs. Officials are studying measures to improve traffic flow, but the rules are yet to be finalised.
