Bengaluru ORR white-topping project may face delay

The Outer Ring Road Companies' Association has urged BBMP to delay the ₹450-crore ORR white-topping project until Metro services begin. ORRCA warned that simultaneous Metro and road construction could worsen traffic and inconvenience commuters. The proposed project covers a 17-km stretch of the Outer Ring Road, with supporting works such as bridges, drains and utility shifting allowed to continue.
