Bengaluru planning to set up 17 new sewage treatment plants

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) is set to build 17 new sewage treatment plants (STPs) with a combined capacity of 583 MLD. This ambitious initiative aims to tackle Bengaluru’s escalating wastewater challenges and improve water reuse by supplying treated water to industrial zones.
