Bengaluru plans to revive 74-kilometre peripheral ring road

Bengaluru’s Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has announced ambitious plans to revive the long-stalled Peripheral Ring Road (PRR) project, drawing inspiration from successful models implemented in Hyderabad and Gujarat. The PRR, originally proposed 20 years ago, aims to create a 74-kilometre ring road around the city to alleviate traffic congestion and improve connectivity.
