Bengaluru received highest rainfall for the month in 7 years on June 3

Bengaluru on June 3 (Thursday) received the highest rainfall for the month in seven years, according to the data by the IMD. The weather station in the city recorded 52.44 mm rainfall in 24 hours ending 8:30 am on June 4. Meanwhile, the IMD also predicted thunderstorm with light to moderate spells of rain in Bengaluru Rural and Urban today.
