Bengaluru reports 668 new COVID-19 cases, no deaths

Bengaluru reported 668 new COVID-19 infections in a day, taking the cumulative total to 18,62,146 cases, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Chief Commissioner said on Friday. No new deaths were reported, so the overall toll remained at 16,982. The number of active cases was 5,186, while the infection positivity rate stood at 5.18%.
