Bengaluru's 2nd international airport project gaining momentum

Bengaluru's long-awaited second international airport project is gaining momentum as the Airports Authority of India (AAI) prepares to submit its site assessment report. With Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) projected to reach capacity by the early 2030s, the Karnataka government is fast-tracking plans to identify a viable location and begin groundwork before the 2033 operational window.
