Bengaluru salon owner dies while awaiting COVID-19 test result
A 45-year-old salon owner with pneumonia died on Tuesday night after allegedly spending four days at a hospital waiting for COVID-19 test result. A Savita Samaj leader said the man wasn't given "a single pill or injection" as he wasn't "officially a COVID-19 patient". Dr BR Venkateshaiah, Medical Superintendent, KC General Hospital, said, "There was no such laxity of care."
