Bengaluru techie killed, fire used as cover-up; teen held

Police in Karnataka's Bengaluru have arrested an 18-year-old neighbour for murdering 34-year-old software engineer Sharmila DK. Her death, first believed to be caused by a fire accident, was later found to be due to suffocation. Police said the accused killed the woman after she resisted a sexual assault attempt and set the flat on fire to hide the crime.
