Bengaluru to crack down on owners of unkempt vacant plots

The Greater Bengaluru Authority will issue notices to owners of unkempt vacant plots across Bengaluru. If owners fail to clean their properties, civic authorities will undertake the work and recover the costs through property tax. Minister Krishna Byre Gowda directed officials to begin the drive, with geo-tagged videos required before and after cleaning to ensure transparency.
