The Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) BR Ravikanthe Gowda said Bengaluru will soon use artificial intelligence for efficient traffic regulation. The new AI cameras will study traffic density and decide on how much time to allow vehicles to clear a signal. The aim is to allow motorists to save fuel and give them an idea about when they can move.
