New Vande Bharat to cut Bengaluru–Mangaluru travel time to 5 hrs

A new Vande Bharat train will reduce travel time between Bengaluru and Mangaluru from about 8-10 hours to around 5 hours over the 380-km route. The semi-high-speed service will offer modern amenities, reliable scheduling and faster connectivity, making business travel, tourism and commuting more efficient. This major rail upgrade is expected to strengthen economic and social ties.
