Bengaluru woman arrested for stealing gold at weddings

Bengaluru police arrested 46-year-old Revathi for allegedly stealing gold and cash from wedding ceremonies by posing as a relative. She worked as a college lecturer while targeting events, exploiting the crowded festive environment. Police recovered 262 grams of gold worth ₹32 lakh and other valuables. Revathi is in 12-day custody as investigations continue.
