Bengaluru woman killed by ex-boyfriend after rejecting marriage

A 23-year-old woman, Anjali, was allegedly murdered by her former boyfriend in Bengaluru's Mahalakshmi Layout after she refused his marriage proposal. The woman's parents allegedly opposed their marriage. Police said the accused, Rajiv, invited her to dinner and later attacked her with a knife during an argument. He was arrested within hours and a murder case has been registered.
