Bengaluru worst-hit as dengue cases cross 7,000-mark in Karnataka

Number of dengue cases in Karnataka has crossed 7,000-mark, with the state reporting 7,165 cases this year so far. Bengaluru has reported over 1,900 cases, the highest in the state. Meanwhile, Chikkamagaluru has recorded 546 cases, Mysuru 496 and Haveri 481 cases. As many as 135 cases were reported in children aged between zero-one and 2,496 in one-18 age groups.
