Bengaluru's tech park admits to encroaching on stormwater drains

Bengaluru's Bagmane World Technology Centre, which includes companies like Accenture, Boeing and DELL, admitted to encroaching on stormwater drains in east Bengaluru. "Yes, we have covered the storm water drain with slabs," Bagmane's general manager said. "We did that only to stop back flow of water from Mahadevapura lake...Main culprit here is Puravankara Purvaridge Villas," the manager added.
