Bengaluru-Vijayawada highway to cut travel time by 5 hrs: Gadkari

The central government announced 342-km-long greenfield access highway between Bengaluru and Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, passing through Kadapa. The project will cost ₹13,600 crore and will reduce the travel distance between the two cities by 75 km and travel time by five hours, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari said.
