Berlin considers U-turn on nuclear power phaseout amid energy crisis

Germany has said that extending lifetime of country's remaining nuclear power plants might make sense. Germany switched off three out of six of its power plants in the end of 2021 and aimed to shut the remaining three at the end of 2022. However, the plan is under reconsideration after Russia reduced gas deliveries to Berlin for supporting Ukraine.
