Berlin fire leaves woman making daring 11th-floor escape, rescued

A woman trapped on the 11th floor of a burning Berlin apartment building made a daring escape by jumping toward a rescue basket. A firefighter caught her safely after she fell about two floors. The August 14 blaze injured 13 people, while 116 firefighters took three hours to control the fire. The woman suffered minor injuries.
