Besant Nagar Beach ranked the cleanest in Chennai, Marina second

Besant Nagar Beach was judged as the cleanest beach in Chennai based on various parameters, as per data compiled between January 18 and February 2. It scored 98.75 points out of 100, followed by Marina Beach, which got 98.1. Thiruvanmiyur was ranked third, Thiruvottiyur fourth, Palavakkam fifth and Akkarai sixth. Neelankarai secured the last spot.
