BESCOM to increase power tariff from Oct 1, 3rd such hike this year

Electricity will get costlier by 43 paise per unit in Bengaluru from October 1 as Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) granted permission to Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) to increase tariff. This is the third such hike this year due to changes in Fuel Adjustment Charges (FAC). The first hike this year came in April and second in June.
