Better.com released a statement after fired CEO Vishal Garg attempted to gain control of the company. Better.com said, Garg, who fired 900 employees over a video call in 2021, took series of decisions that raised serious concerns regarding his judgement, temperament and credibility. The Board will not be bullied into actions that do not serve interests of shareholders, it added.
