Better dental health in eldery linked to longer life, study finds

Elderly people who have better dental health have a lower mortality risk than those with poor dental health, according to a study published in the journal BMC Oral Health. The study, which analysed data of 1,90,282 residents aged 75 and above, found that people with treated and healthy teeth had lower death rates than those with untreated cavities.
