Prediction trading applications like Kalshi and Polymarket are banned in India but continue to offer services to customers, Bloomberg reported. For example, they drew significant wagers on IPL matches since the current season began in March, approaching half the trading volume on US baseball games on some weeks. An LSG vs RCB match on May 7 alone saw ₹267-crore bets.
