Bevon Jacobs slams maiden FC century two weeks ahead of IPL 2025

New Zealand's Bevon Jacobs, who earned his maiden IPL deal with Mumbai Indians in the latest auction, smashed his maiden first-class century in a Plunket Shield match on Friday. Coming in at 56-2, Jacobs scored 157 off 257 balls with 20 fours and three sixes, helping Auckland to 421 on day three, in response to Central Districts' 700-5 declared.
