Beware of WhatsApp scam offering shares at discount: NSE

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has cautioned investors against a WhatsApp group named 'JO HAMBRO' offering shares at discounted prices after the market's closure. In the group, an entity called 'Lazard Asset Management India' is also falsely presenting itself as a registered stockbroker. It is doing so by "using a forged SEBI registration certificate", NSE said.
