Bezos announces first 16 recipients of $10 bn Earth Fund

Amazon Founder and CEO Jeff Bezos has announced the first 16 recipients of the $10 billion Bezos Earth Fund that pledges support to scientists, activists, NGOs and organisations. The groups will receive a total of $791 million with World Wildlife Fund and Environmental Defense Fund receiving $100 million each. Bezos had launched the fund in February this year.
