Bhagat Puran Singh's Pingalwara: Legacy of selfless service

The All India Pingalwara Charitable Society's branch at Manawala continues to play a vital role in providing care, shelter and dignity to hundreds of destitute and differently-abled persons. Located on the Amritsar-Jalandhar Grand Trunk Road at Manawala village, the centre stands as a symbol of compassion and humanitarian service. It was founded by the renowned social worker Bhagat Puran Singh.
