Bhagat Singh bombed the Central Assembly on this day in 1929

Bhagat Singh along with Batukeshwar Dutt bombed the Central Legislative Assembly on April 8, 1929. However, their aim was not to hurt anyone but raise their voice for freedom. The explosion disrupted the Assembly in session, and then they repeatedly shouted slogans like "Inquilab Zindabad", "Down with Imperialism" and "Workers of the World Unite".
