Haryana's Bhankri villagers urge minister to shift waste plant

Residents of Bhankri village and Sainik Colony in Haryana met ULB minister Vipul Goel on Monday, urging relocation of a proposed 600-tonne-per-day waste processing plant near the Aravallis. Goel assured villagers it would process, not accumulate, garbage and said their concerns would be raised with the government. The ₹17.12 crore project was approved by CM Nayab Singh Saini on October 24.
