Bharat Biotech's Krishna Ella explains why COVID-19 may occur after vaccination

Bharat Biotech chairman and managing director Dr Krishna Ella has said that injectable COVID-19 vaccines only protect the lower lung and not the upper lung from infection. The possibility of getting infected even after getting two doses is not completely ruled out, he added. "The vaccine will prevent the infection from becoming serious. It won't become lethal, life-threatening," he said.
