Bharat Coking Coal IPO draws bids worth ₹1.17 lakh cr on final day

Bharat Coking Coal drew bids worth ₹1.17 lakh crore for its ₹1,071-crore IPO on January 13, the final day of bidding. The Coal India subsidiary received bids for 50.93 billion shares, nearly 147 times the number of shares on offer. It is the first mainboard IPO in India this year with Coal India selling its 10% stake in the subsidiary.
