BharatPe acquires majority stake in NBFC Trillion Loans

BharatPe has completed acquisition of a 51% stake in non-banking financial company (NBFC) Trillion Loans. According to an official statement, BharatPe has also infused "a substantial amount of investment" into the Mumbai-based NBFC to help it grow its loan book. Trillion Loans will continue to run independently under the supervision of its board that will consist of some BharatPe executives.
