Bharti Airtel Q1 net profit surges 466%, revenue jumps 22%

Bharti Airtel on Monday posted a 466% surge in its consolidated net profit to ₹1,607 crore for the quarter ended June as against ₹284 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal. The telecom service provider's consolidated revenue jumped by 22% year-on-year to ₹32,805 crore. Its stock closed 0.18% higher at ₹705 on the National Stock Exchange on Monday.
